Jackson Hole Ride

A few pics from our ride to Jackson Hole. We had Bob Fackrell, Mark Slemons, Peter Morris and me on the ride. We covered just over 700 miles in two days. Great ride! Unfortunately Bob had a mechanical problem on the way home and we had to leave him at a rest stop just outside of Idaho Falls. He made it home safely as did we...

Showing off our RT Riders Shirts overlooking Monte Cristo

Quick stop at Bear Lake on our way to Jackson. Had lunch in Garden City. Great Burgers!

Our stop at Mesa Falls in Ashton Idaho on the way home. Great views!

St. George Ride!

John, Bob, Bill and I all went down to St. George in May. We tried to stay off I-15 and went down the west side on the way to St. George and on the east side of I-15 on the way back. We did pretty well staying to the smaller highways and roads.

Below are some pictures from our new official RT Riders Photographer - John Hayes.

Okay, this first picture is gratuitous, but John took a great shot here. This is in Snow Canyon, near St. George Bill and Bob near the Checkerboard in Zion's National Park. We drove out of St. George through Zion's.Lunch in Panguitch, w/John and his HOG

Last week my wife joined me on Brandons Ride. A ride for a fallen soldier that went up Parleys Canyon and around Ogden and back to SLC. It was 125 miles and was great. Brian joined us on the ride as well as some other friends of ours.

Saturday Ride

Two days ago, Mark and I went for a quick ride. It was great, we hit I-15 up to the north end of SLC and then up by the U of U and down the East side (Blvd) back out to the south end of the valley and then back out West.
We didn't have a lot of time so we just did a quick ride, but it was nice.

Fun riding with you Mark. We are going to have to do more of that when you get back from Hawaii

We have GOT to do this ride - US 101...

Okay, I didn't get to do this on a bike, but the drive down US 101 and through the Avenue of the Giants was amazing. All I was thinking about during the drive was... this would be awesome on a bike.

This picture is of a fallen redwood tree and we are standing at the base with the roots. These giants were all over the place...

This picture shows the scale of the living trees as you see the person walking among them. The place is surreal.

Finally, picture yourself riding down this road on your bike!
