We have GOT to do this ride - US 101...

Okay, I didn't get to do this on a bike, but the drive down US 101 and through the Avenue of the Giants was amazing. All I was thinking about during the drive was... this would be awesome on a bike.



This picture is of a fallen redwood tree and we are standing at the base with the roots. These giants were all over the place...



This picture shows the scale of the living trees as you see the person walking among them. The place is surreal.

Finally, picture yourself riding down this road on your bike!

    these pictures are fantastic. I am going there this June, but will be in my car rather than on the bike. I cant take my wife and son and all our stuff on a bike.

    I have never seen the Giant Redwoods so it will be great to get to see them up close and personal. Thanks for sharing.
